Golden is not a color filter anyone can add. It is a limited trait entitlement attached permanently to a specific BYORD token ID.
Only 200 of the collection’s 5,000 BYORD—4% of the total supply—will carry a Golden assignment.
Golden assignments are revealed through the collection’s mint and Hatch process. No BYORD can receive more than one Golden trait.
If the token moves to a new wallet, its Golden entitlement moves with it. Before Hatch, the Incubator verifies the current owner and unlocks only the Golden trait assigned to that BYORD.

verified token status and unlocks only its assigned Golden trait;
every other Golden trait remains visible but locked.

Who can claim with a Rubber Duckz?
The current owner of an eligible Rubber Duckz NFT ↗ that has never been used to claim. There is one free BYORD claim per eligible Rubber Duckz NFT, with gas paid by the holder. Selling one that has already been used does not reset its claim.
What are the public mint limits?
The public mint price is 0.02 ETH per BYORD, plus gas. Choose 1–50 per transaction, with a maximum of 50 public mints per wallet. The maximum collection supply is 5,000.
Can I change my Duck after Hatch?
No. You can experiment before Hatch, but the final Hatch is permanent and can happen only once per BYORD.
How do wallet transactions work here?
The BYORD experience is live and connects directly to Ethereum. Connect MetaMask to verify ownership, eligibility and the contract’s current status. Claim, mint and Hatch actions show the exact contract request, ETH amount and gas before you approve them. If the contract is paused, the affected action stays disabled. Never share your recovery phrase or private key.
